Our Mission

At Kula House the underground movement, individuals can embark on immersive journeys of self-discovery, connection, and personal growth. Through the advantage of keeping spaces seeing that Alexandra Township is overpopulated and therefore our business model to provide the community with Experiential Spaces to maneuver through innovative technology, creative expression, and purposeful design, we aim to provide a platform that ignites curiosity, expands consciousness, and fosters a deep sense of wonder within every participant

Kula Marolen Foundation NPC HQ is situated in what was once a garage in the 1950’s that belonged to my late grandparents Mr & Mrs Marolen. These artists inspired us without knowing through kept literature, fashion, entrepreneurship, community leadership and consistency. These spaces still exist as they were kept spaces of reliving what used to be a place for community gatherings to share stories, circle dialogues and celebrate as a Kula family hence the experiential space consists of a gallery, museum, library, bioscope and an office. Kept spaces are kept from our first generation to the now being the 3rd- my generation to bring communities together along with sustainable solutions in this dire changing times. We improve the community with Art and Culture that sustained our prior generation and is the answer to the now woes.

Organizations History

Our existence is a tribute to the efforts of our ancestors in preserving the experiential spaces we have today. We aim to continue their legacy by serving a information hub on sociology in Alexandra Township. We share their stories through various mediums such as vintage items, cultural artifacts, storytelling, documentaries, artwork, mentorship, and hospitality that promote tourism

our contribution

Working alongside dedicated African creatives who strive to make a positive impact on future generations. Our main objective is to elevate African wealth, history, stories, and voices using innovative methods and spaces. We draw inspiration from our esteemed family of artists and game changers, whom we aim to honor and celebrate. Kula House serves as the ultimate hub for the African community, where we transform black creative power into economic success. Our focus is on highlighting our incredible creatives and providing safe spaces for black audiences to share their interests. Our platform aims to revolutionize how we connect and learn from each other while respecting and protecting the ideas that originated in black communities.

goals and values

Our goal is to create a world where everyone can embrace their unique abilities and unite in the joy of creativity, while learning from the past to make a better present. Through our innovative social solution, we strive to bridge the gap between generations by serving as an information hub that helps people understand our history, our present, and our future. We honor our ancestors by preserving the spaces they held dear, and we seek to honor their legacy by providing a platform for vintage items, heritage, culture, storytelling, documentaries, art, mentorship, tourism, and hospitality. Our information hub for sociology in Alexandra Township is dedicated to sharing the stories of those who have made significant contributions to society.
